On the North side of the Mount Meru, not far from the irrigated fields of Ngarenanyuki and the Momela gate of Arusha National Parks, there lies the village of Mkuru whose habitants are the Maasai families lived in the small traditional bomas scattered throughout the area. From a distance the area can easily be recognized by the remarkable shape of Ol Doinyo Langaree (which means "The Mountain of Water " in Maasai tongue) a small mountain that looks like a pyramid. |
